Superior Joins the Sociable Family
We have some news.
Let's get right to the punch — Superior Switchel has joined the Sociable Cider Werks family. It is now produced locally in Minneapolis and has a new look, Superior Craft Elixirs. The Sociable team is beyond excited about this product and hopes to live up to the foundation that Melina and her team set before us.
To keep any surprises at bay, here are some of the changes you’ll notice:
Superior Switchel —> Superior Craft Elixirs: While we loved the smooth alliteration of the double "S," the name felt limiting. There's so much potential to expand beyond switchel! Down the line, we hope to develop more functional, delicious beverages.
Cans vs bottles: This one was easy for us. Cans are more cost-effective and easier to ship, which results in more affordable products for you, all while remaining recyclable.
New flavors: In short, we cannot legally produce the original recipes. So, we hope you'll find a flavor that suits your taste between our new Raspberry, Lemon, and Hibiscus flavors. (If you're really curious about the "why," feel free to send an email to ciara@superiorswitchel.com.)
New non-profit partner: We're excited to partner with Save the Boundary Waters, a leading effort to protect the clean water, air, and forest landscape of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
